The short version

Atmos masters on the Mac, no Renderer required

Pik Player Pro is a review player for Atmos and multichannel work. Load an ADM BWF or an Atmos MP4, listen on the monitoring rig you already own, and read the loudness numbers off the same window. No external Renderer, no separate Mac.

What it is

A macOS review player for ADM BWF masters, Atmos MP4 deliverables and other multichannel files. It plays them, meters them, lets you leave timecoded notes, and exports those notes as a PDF review report and as DAW markers.

Who it is for

Mix and mastering engineers who need to audition an Atmos master on their own room, and anyone who has to write a delivery note against a timeline instead of a vague comment in email.

Atmos + multichannel playback

7.1.4 and Apple Spatial, on one Mac

Two playback engines sit behind one window: switch between them for Atmos sessions and for straight multichannel renders without leaving the app. ADM BWF blockFormat is parsed so each object is heard where the mix placed it, and Apple Spatial monitoring is wired in on the Macs that support it.

  • Two playback engines, switchable per session
  • Up to 7.1.4 bed plus Atmos objects
  • Apple Spatial monitoring on supported Macs
  • Four Render Modes, persistent per project

LUFS metering

True LUFS, per channel and overall

Integrated, Short-term, Momentary, Range and True Peak are measured, not estimated. The same window reads per-channel PPM across the bed and the height layer, and the delivery target bar below it keeps the target loudness and per-target True-Peak ceiling visible while you work.

  • I / S / M / Range / True Peak, true measured
  • 12 per-channel PPM bars across bed and height
  • Delivery targets with per-target True-Peak ceiling
  • Re-measure any window without re-rendering

Timecoded notes

Notes that travel with the session

Mark a point, mark a range, set a severity, set a status. Notes are stored locally in SQLite so they survive relaunch. A review report exports through the macOS print system into a PDF, and DAW markers go out as a Standard MIDI File with PPQN and tempo, plus a plain .txt sidecar.

  • Point and range notes, severity and status filters
  • Review report PDF, via the macOS print pipeline
  • DAW markers: Standard MIDI File + .txt sidecar
  • 31-band spectrum, correlation meter, 3D visualizer on top

Status

Coming soon

Pik Player Pro is in the last lap of internal review. There is no public build to download yet, and there is no public date until the build that ships clears the manual. The status string below mirrors what is on the downloads page, so it cannot drift from the release source of truth.
